Today is the day hey!! "COMMON ENGLAND". And what a bad time 3pm. I'm sure lots of people at work will be tuning in via the bbc/iplayer while others less fortunate on the roads will be listening to TalkSport or other radio stations. I myself will be hiding behind my chair in the office hoping that Slovenia does not score and that Capello's choice team gives our nation something to be proud of. Damn, this is a scary game as we could go out of the World Cup today if we don't play our lions right. Nigeria knows that feeling already and South Africa, we sure don't want to be coming into work tommorrow with sad faces. We want to be excited for the next match in the last 16.
What would you change? what team players would you player? These are all questions I bet you have been asking yourself over the last few days. Me, personally I would keep the scousers together, Gerrard and Rooney, they are the only ones that can understand each others accent haha. And I would drop Johnston and bring on someone with a bit more pace, who can break up the defence on a good run, like Matthew Upson, Sure , bring on the Ashley Cole in defence with John Terry and Ledley King, Hmmmmmm midfielders Shaun-Wright Philips has some good legs on him and bring on Joe Cole and Aaron Lennon. And we deinitely need Crouch with his long legs for them headers for corners, free-kicks etc. So their you have my team. Oh and keep David James in goal as he has the most experience in my opinion. Or bring back David Seaman haha, but definitely don't choose Rob "Mr. Butter-fingers" Green.
