How to pick your PPL Mini-League fantasy football team

by David 28. July 2010 02:38

1. Register with us by sending an email to me at david@premierfleet.net

2. You can got HERE to pick your team.

3. Send me a list or a screenshot of your team and you will be enetered free into our Mini-league

4. See below for the transfer windows. We will send you an email when the transfer window is open and closed.

Tip of the Week:  Choose a lucky Dip team and then edit it to put in the expensive players.

The Sun's £1 million Dream Team game allows you to pick an 11-man team using a budget of £50 million, based on the values that we have given to each of the players.

Points are awarded during the season depending on how your players perform in Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League matches.

Your players will score points for goals, clean sheets and good performances whilst losing them for conceding goals, bookings and red cards.

During the season there are three FREE transfer windows where you will be able to make up to three changes to your team.

Selecting Your Players

Our Player List shows information for every player available to select. Take a good look through this before deciding on your team line up. You can click on players by position (Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Strikers) and view their profiles by clicking on their name.

Once you come to select your team The Sun's website will make sure you stay within the following, simple, selection rules:

  1. Your team's value cannot exceed £50 million.
  2. It must contain one Goalkeeper, four Defenders, three or four Midfielders and two or three Strikers

Making Transfers

Once you have chosen your team you are able to make unlimited changes to it until 23:59 BST on Tuesday 10 August. After this point you won’t be able to make changes until the start of the first Transfer Window.

The first Transfer Window opens at 09:00 BST on Tuesday 5 October 2010 and closes at 12:15 BST on Saturday 16 October 2010 with transfers taking effect from eligible games after this time.

by David 28. July 2010 01:02

We wish to congratulate Toby Morris from Charlies Wholesale International on winning in our World Cup Dream Team 2010 competition

Toby and Anne White were both invited to PPL and taken out to lunch in one of the fine cuisine restaurants in Wembley Stadium and were later presented with their prize of £200.

The second prize was also sent out to John Braithwaite at Castor Ltd bagging him £100 and the third prize of £50 went to Liam Ellesmore from  Sunset Entertainment.

As for the Golden Boot and Golden Glove prizes they were both won by Stuart Dunfield from Crest Cosmetics Ltd, who must have had some kind of inside information to win both prizes of £75 and 2 bottles of Moet Chandon.

Well done to all winners and we hope you will enter into our Premier League PPL Mini-League 2010/11.

Being in the transport business often gives us plenty of oppurtunities to stumble across unwanted things. Yesterday one of our drivers came to me and said "Dave, can you sell something for me on ebay" I was like "Sure, what is it?" He said "A fridge and a freezer, come and have a look" So I im thinking of all the household categories on ebay whilst I'm walking to his van. He opens the door and there stands three of the ugliest looking Tango drinks coolers and a Walls Ice cream double freezer that I have ever seen.. I looked at him and said "Your avin a bubble aren't you." He was looking excited at the prospect of selling them untill I told him he should put them on ebay for a start price of £0.99. So then he told me "Ok Dave I will look on ebay later." "Sure" I said laughing as I walked away thinking how the hell could anyone want one of those ugly things. Well I wish him luck, perhaps he can find someone who wants to sell drinks at an event outside who would find use for them

Day 27 of our World Cup Competition

by David 7. July 2010 20:22

The sun is shining again, lots of happy faces becuase of it, I'm just waiting for the deli guy to start bringing strawberries and cream and then I know it really is summer. Lots of things to look forward to including the FA community shield on 8th August 2010. We are also doing the parking for that you can book online at Wembley Stadium Parking

I was kind of hoping that Uruguay would win over the Netherlands, maybe because I wanted to see a European Team v South American Team final to see if there is much difference in the quality of football in the 2 continents. Anyway Netherlands had a good game and scored 3 goals but Uruguay did not make it easy for them and Forlan was unlucky not to score on a number of ocassions. So will the Dutch lift the World Cup this time? I doubt it. Germany look a force to be reckoned with after they spanked Argentina 4-0 what game that was, much better than the Spain vs Paraguay match which was one of the most boring matches I have seen in this world cup and three penalties were missed in the space of 5 minutes. Well I fluffed my dream team hopes as I had a half Argentine and half Brazilian team with the exception of Sneijder. Who is going to get the golden boot and golden gloves? The entries in our competition are still very small so if you have any idea then please let me know by email to david@premierfleet.net and you could win £75 and a bottle of Moet Chandon.

Castor Ltd are unstoppable now at the top of our Mini-League but keep watching for furthur action right here in your favourtie blog.
